Full Zircon
A Full Zirconia crown is a monolithic restoration, which means that it is made from a single material, zirconia, which is machined from the mass.
The machined restoration is then stained.
Full Zirconia crowns are available in two different finishes:
- In the classic finish
Also called multi-shade, the restoration is shaded and offers very good aesthetic results. It is suitable for both anterior and posterior teeth and is the one we recommend.
- With a single-shade finish
The aesthetic result is more basic with a single-tone finish. It is suitable for posterior prostheses for which aesthetics could take a back seat.
Preparation
- During your peripheral preparation, avoid any undercutting
- If you need to make any alterations, especially occlusal, use the specific zirconia burs. This kit is available in the laboratory on request
- In laboratory, we systematically opacify the Inlay cores for a better aesthetic result, unless you indicate otherwise
We produce Full Zirconia restorations in 3 laboratory days.
